🎶 Summer Blues with The Night Creatures 🎷
The Nightcreatures are a brassy 4 piece New Orleans R&B band specialising in Swamp Funk, Voodoo Blues and Mardi Gras street beats.
They play a varied mixture of classic New Orleans material, old time blues and rock/pop covers given the Nightcreatures treatment.
In the true spirit of the city they bring together songs sourced from such diverse artists as Prince, Black Sabbath, ZZ Top, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Tom Waits and Ian Drury, as well as from New Orleans greats like Allen Toussaint, Dr John, Professor Longhair, James Booker and many of the great NOLA brass bands.
Looking deeper into history, they have reworked songs that were originally recorded by classic bluesmen Blind Wil lie Johnson, Leadbelly, Screaming Jay Hawk ins and Jelly Roll Morton.
